ruby50 are searching for a strong front-end developer with ruby skills to work at a leading BBC Worldwide subsidiary.
Reporting to the Global Creative Director, in this job you will work closely with designers, developers, UX specialist and product managers to deliver high quality user interfaces across multiple platforms.
With extensive experience in developing cross-browser, production ready UIs, you will provide thought leadership by keeping up-to-date with latest technologies, trends and standards.
This organisation embraces agile methodologies and you will work on UI stories within product orientated agile teams, while pairing with designers and developers to ensure a comprehensive and efficient approach to development.

Required Skills:
- HTML
- CSS
- JavaScript (JQuery, Prototype)
- Strong understanding of semantic mark-up and web standards
- Experience of agile methodologies
Desired Skills:
- Ruby (on frameworks such as rails)
- TDD
- Git/SVN
- Knowledge of Continuous Integration
- Experience developing mobile UIs
