London Calling!

At Ruby50, we  are currently working with a number of companies in and around the London area to find developers with good experience of ruby/rails.

For those of you who don’t know, we’re a specialist recruitment agency set up by a team of developers at our sister company, Dynamic50. We have been around since 2008 and have worked with most of the top ruby employers in London to find extra resource, or build teams from scratch.

If you would like to keep in touch, drop an email to jobs@ruby50.com ;-)

We currently have the following jobs available, with roles ranging from 6 months of commercial experience, to very senior hands-on coders.

•  A funded startup focused on solving a lot of complex algorithm-based
   data problems.
•  A web development agency who work on a variety of interesting projects
   with high profile clients.
•  A global consumer organisation who are looking for developers on a
   12 month contract.

We always treat developers with the utmost of respect, telling you all about the role, existing team etc, and of course never share any details without your absolute permission!

We generally look for skills and experience in the following areas:

Need to have:

•  Ruby/Rails
•  BDD (Cucumber, RSpec)
•  Javascript
•  HTML & CSS

Nice to have:

•  RESTful API design
•  MongoDB, Redis
•  Node, backbone, batman (and/or other edgy JS tech)
•  Mobile development platforms (i.e. Phonegap, Titanium)

All our current positions are based on-site in the UK, so you will need to already hold permission to live and work over here.
