3x developers required in London

Ruby50 is working with a global media agency to find 3 Ruby on Rails developers to add to their existing team.

Based in central London and working with both internal clients and some of the world’s biggest brands, this is a great opportunity to join a team who strive for best practice.

The team work in an agile manner with bi-weekly iterations, pair programming, daily stand-ups and continuous integration testing.

The ideal applicant will have an inquisitive nature and desire to learn, whilst also embracing agile principals.

Responsibilities will include designing and building new Rails apps, but the company also have some legacy systems, so experience of maintaining and upgrading apps would be a distinct advantage.

Required Skills:

• 18 months commercial experience developing Rails applications
• Git
• TDD/ BDD tools
• HTML/CSS/Javascript
• Experience of working with large datasets

Desired Skills:

• Linux server administration
• VMware
• Maintenance of Rails apps

Salary: up to £40k

Ruby developer for awesome web agency

We are looking for a mid-senior level developer who has at least 2 years commercial experience of Ruby on Rails.

Based in funky offices just outside London, this job is an excellent opportunity for a self-motivated developer to get involved with an agency that works on challenging projects and exciting applications with big name clients.

The right candidate will have a passion for creating accessible web application while keeping the end user in mind at all times.

The working environment has a fantastic atmosphere where colleagues work hard, but also play hard together. The offices have games consoles for heated lunchtime battles, and the surrounding area has lots of nice country pubs for those important brainstorming sessions!

Required skills:

• Advanced CSS and XHTML knowledge
• Excellent knowledge of JavaScript
• Git
• Good communication skills.

Desired skills:

• SASS and HAML
• Experience working in a Unix environment

Salary: Up to £40k + for the right developer.
